About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in Melbourne CBD. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, including fortnightly and monthly payments, superannuation, and tax reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll on a timely and accurate basis, meeting deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage employee data, including personal details, leave balances, and pay slips through ADP and Workday.
  • Prepare and submit reports on headcount, staff movements, annual and sick leave balances, and other key metrics as required.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to process payroll tax figures and ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Process new employee onboarding and terminations, ensuring seamless transitions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist employees with queries and issues related to their employee records and payroll information.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll management, including payroll tax, superannuation, and work cover.
  • Proficiency in using ADP software, with a strong understanding of its functionality and capabilities.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work autonomously, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving ability.
