About the Role

As a Payroll Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance to management and staff on People & Culture (P&C) Systems. You will develop, initiate, and implement systems ensuring that terms of reference, specifications, and targets are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to procedures, processes, and time constraints within a payroll system
  • Administer development and coordination of all People & Culture systems training for staff at Head Office and Depots (as required)
  • Appraise requirements and make recommendations in respect to work methods and techniques
  • Assist in maintaining integrated P&C system aligned to statutory and Agreement requirements
  • Support project planning and delivery of system integration
  • Represent the organisation on critical payroll projects

About You

You will be a highly effective communicator with demonstrated relevant experience in administration of payroll, HR, and related information systems processing. In addition, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proficiency with various Microsoft applications, including advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial awards, industrial relations, and WorkCover policies
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting Union Collective and industry-related agreements
  • Strong technical ability and knowledge of HR systems administration
  • Ability to manage, use, and maintain administrative systems
