About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Analyst - Operations Commercial to support our business with evaluation of performance and improvement opportunities.

This role will work closely with Group Operations Commercial and Site Commercial teams to enhance value by identifying and proposing opportunities for cost savings or demand management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with annual budget and Life of Mine reviews, periodic re-forecasting, and site performance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain templates and models to streamline analysis activities across multiple sites.
  • Prepare and present data with insights on trends and areas of focus, including causal factors.
  • Independently gather, review, prioritise, and analyse business data.
  • Deliver various ad-hoc reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related field, with proven experience in commercial analysis and presentation.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process and business improvements that deliver efficiencies and genuine bottom line savings.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, presentation skills, and communication skills across the organisational hierarchy.
  • Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Excel.
