The National Account Assistant will play a key role in supporting the National Account team in achieving business goals and objectives. This is an excellent development opportunity for a sales professional looking to gain experience in strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the National Account team to implement sales strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Support the National Account team with forecast management, aligning with customer needs.
  • Contribute to in-store and online promotional slotting, strategy development, and review.
  • Assist in building and collating general and range review presentations.
  • Analyze various data sources to monitor current market dynamics, review current strategies, and assist in setting future direction.
  • Act as a key account contact for the National Field Sales Team, working to deliver tools for executional excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, working as a partner to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage selected categories, driving business growth and development.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in account management, category management, finance, or marketing.
  • A strong understanding of the FMCG and grocery market.
  • Tertiary education in sales, marketing, or finance is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation skills, using MS PowerPoint and Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • A collaborative team player with a passion for sales and business development.
