As a Toolstore Controller, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing tooling and consumables to meet customer demands. You will also be involved in assisting with opportunities to maximise equipment utilisation and ensuring that all tools and equipment are in good working order.

You will provide a quality customer experience by responding promptly to customer needs and requests. Your commitment to customer satisfaction and reliability during demanding situations will be a key focus of this role.

A typical day will include:

  • Demonstrating and contributing to a safe workplace culture
  • Managing, sourcing and planning tooling and consumables to meet customer demands
  • Assisting with opportunities to maximise equipment utilisation
  • Ensuring tooling & equipment is in good working order ready for hire
  • Managing the dispatch and retrieval of tooling and equipment
  • Conducting stock takes and recording inventory data electronically

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Familiarisation with risk assessments and safety protocols
  • Current drivers (essential) & forklift license (preferable, not essential)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, time management & organisational skills
  • Trade qualifications welcome but not essential
