Equipment Maintenance Manager

The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance service team and activities at our Resource Recovery precinct in Spring Farm.

Job Description

As an Equipment Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance requirements for fixed plant and equipment are coordinated, as well as planning maintenance activities. You will establish maintenance programs and safety procedures for all maintenance activities, manage maintenance programs to maximise life cycle, serviceability and availability of equipment, monitor maintenance costs and make recommendations for improvement, and develop and strengthen key internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical or similar
  • 3+ years of fitting experience
  • Experience in waste operations is desirable
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment & fault finding techniques
  • Experience in working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Previous experience of team management desirable
