Job Title: Associate Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative Services team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and operational direction to the unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient management of resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and operational direction to the Perioperative Services team
  • Assist the Perioperative Services Manager in the leadership and clinical support of the theatre team
  • Coordinate the delivery of evidence-based nursing care
  • Manage human, financial, and material resources effectively
Requirements:
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Sound clinical knowledge and compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Experience in the Acute setting, preferably in ENT & Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Advanced skills and a degree in a relevant specialty area
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to manage a dynamic and changing environment
  • High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office and various databases
