Job Title: Clinical Educator

A clinical educator is required to facilitate and develop education initiatives that foster a culture of clinical learning within the Social Work profession. This role will contribute clinical and education knowledge and skills to drive innovative education initiatives with a focus on supporting the clinical workforce to deliver high quality patient care.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced social worker who has a strong commitment to clinical learning and education. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team, and have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and develop education initiatives that foster a culture of clinical learning within the Social Work profession.
  • Contribute clinical and education knowledge and skills to drive innovative education initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the interprofessional education team to develop and implement education initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to education activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Post Graduate qualifications within the profession, education or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated use of education skills, methods and e-learning technologies to develop and deliver education initiatives.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience.
  • A strong commitment to high quality care.
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
