Indo-Pacific Mobility Opportunities
The New Colombo Plan (NCP) is a strategic initiative of the Australian Government aimed at elevating knowledge of the Indo-Pacific region in Australia. By supporting Australian undergraduates to study and undertake internships in the area, this program fosters cultural exchange, understanding, and collaboration between nations.
The NCP Mobility Program provides grant funding to Australian universities and consortia to facilitate student participation in mobility projects spanning four weeks to semester lengths. This enables students to engage in internships, mentorships, practicums, and research across 40 host locations within the Indo-Pacific region. The introduction of a new Semester Program through the 2026 NCP Program round further enhances opportunities for Australian students to immerse themselves in diverse cultures and gain valuable experience.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support services for the NCP Mobility Program.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and implement effective mobility initiatives.
- Support the development of new programs, such as the Semester Program introduced through the 2026 NCP Program round.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages diversity and collaboration.
