Loan Officer

Make a real impact in the lives of customers as a Loan Services Specialist. You will handle loan modifications, reconcile accounts and reassemble data from various systems into our RFS/BDS database, and other tasks that directly influence customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing loan adjustments
  • Account reconciliations and reconstructions
  • Entry of loan information into RFS/BDS (experience preferred)
  • Meeting productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Compliance with all Bank policies and regulations

To Succeed In This Role:

We are looking for individuals who have

  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles or data administration.
  • Knowledge of banking and finance principles is preferred but not essential – we value skills, attitude, and potential above all.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using loan management software (RFS experience highly desirable).
  • Understanding of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., National Credit Code and Code of Banking Practice).

Benefits:

We offer flexible work arrangements with a minimum 60% on-site presence. This role is Full-time (76 hours per fortnight) with a 12-month Contract. The position is based at either Bendigo or Adelaide.
