About the Role

The Contract Officer will be engaged on a contract basis for approximately 5 months to facilitate the renewal of civil assets, specifically water and sewer renewal projects, ensuring high standards of service are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractual compliance for nominated projects.
  • Support and advise on relevant contract matters.
  • Manage performance reports and KPI submissions from external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a continual improvement register to enhance contract performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams as required.

About You

Essential:

  • Proven experience in managing contracts (preferably in the civil asset space).
  • Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare performance reports and challenge existing practices for service improvement.
  • A qualification in governance, contractual arrangements, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Desirable:

  • Experience in collaborative delivery partnerships.
  • Experience in managing contracts.
