English Teacher Position

We are seeking an experienced English Language Teacher to develop and deliver high-quality lessons, fostering a deep understanding of the subject and its real-world applications.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching English in years 7-12, with a proven ability to write and deliver an outstanding English curriculum. They will engage students in critical thinking, discussion, and analysis, helping them develop skills in reading and writing.

The teacher will design a rigorous and robust curriculum that embeds cognitive load theory, explicit instruction, and the Science of Learning. They will also have a commitment to professional development, excellent personal communication, administrative and organisational skills.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Able to teach English Language to VCE and 7-10, developing student's passion for the subject whilst improving their skills.
  • Demonstrated effective delivery of teaching and learning programs.
  • Strong skills in the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), especially as they relate to teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to co-curricular activities and student wellbeing.
