Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced English Language Teacher to develop and deliver high-quality lessons, maintain and build on academic success.

The successful candidate will teach English Language to VCE and 7-10, helping students develop a passion for the subject while improving their skills in reading and writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver rigorous curricula that embed cognitive load theory, explicit instruction, and best practices in teaching.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching programs.
  • Engage students in critical thinking, discussion, and analysis, fostering a deep understanding of the subject and its real-world applications.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualification and current registration as a teacher.
  • Passion for teaching English in years 7-12 with a proven ability to write and deliver an outstanding curriculum.
  • Understanding of pedagogies and ability to apply them to an English curriculum.
  • Commitment to professional development, excellent personal communication, administrative, and organisational skills.
