About the Role

The Finance Business Partner is a key position within CatholicCare Wollongong, responsible for providing real-time support and detailed financial analysis to facilitate operational and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management reports, forecasts, budgets, and detailed cost analyses for programs.
  • Presentation of high-quality, timely monthly management reports for programs, including insightful analysis of performance against the operating budget and ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines.
  • Annual operating cost budget preparation for programs.
  • Preparation of financial analysis and financial models for tenders and funding submissions.
  • Provision of financial advice and support to managers.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting or an equivalent related discipline.
  • Experience in management accounting or business partnering roles, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Solid understanding of commercial business practices and principles, with the ability to influence commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage challenges and changing priorities while meeting team and agency deadlines.
  • High-level analytical skills, including proficiency with MS Excel and computer-based financial systems.
