Work Injury Recovery Specialist

The successful specialist will be responsible for delivering rehabilitation and return to work support for all workplace and non-workplace injuries across NSW and the ACT.

This role offers a high degree of flexibility working from home, with regular meetings with doctors and rehabilitation providers in Western Sydney.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver rehabilitation and return to work support for injured employees and managers.
  • Attend initial consultations with injured workers at local clinics.
  • Coordinate communication with rehabilitation providers, insurers, and team members.
  • Develop and maintain return-to-work plans.
  • Assist management in building a positive rehabilitation and return to work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports on current injuries and illnesses.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in injury management, return to work, workers compensation, or occupational health and safety roles.
  • Sound knowledge of injury management and workers' compensation legislation.
  • Proven performance in improving return to work outcomes and reducing claims costs.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
