Job Description

This role involves strategic and operational coordination of clinical placements within a department. The primary responsibility is to ensure alignment with academic requirements, industry standards, and student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage clinical placements for students.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers.
  • Oversee placement logistics, including agreements, compliance, and student documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide ongoing support to students and clinical facilitators.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement across the placement portfolio.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the nursing sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining effective partnerships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in nursing; AHPRA registration and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are highly desirable.
