Job Title: Clinical Placement Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Placement Manager to join our team. This is a part-time appointment as a HEW 8 employee.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and management of postgraduate placements for psychology students in various clinical and community settings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing placements for postgraduate psychology students in diverse settings.
- Liaising with external agencies, hospitals, clinics, and organisations to develop relationships.
- Ensuring that all placements meet academic standards and comply with industry requirements and regulations.
- Coordinating APAC competency requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating, assessing, and providing clinical supervision in psychology placements or internships.
- Extensive knowledge of psychology regulations and standards, particularly those set by APAC and AHPRA.
- Experience in providing leadership and peer mentoring for improving supervisory practices in psychology.
- Organisational and administrative abilities necessary to establish, coordinate, assess and manage geographically diverse psychology student placements.
Essential Qualifications:
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required for all University positions delivering education and/or services to children.
