Human Resources Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Advisor to support our organisation's workload. The successful candidate will assist HR Business Partners with routine operational tasks and enquiries, develop position descriptions for new roles and/or update existing ones, conduct position level classification using a points-based evaluation system, and perform various administrative tasks.

  • Support the development of effective human resources strategies and policies.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including shortlisting, interviewing, and reference checking.
  • Conduct job evaluations, classifications, and salary determinations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified HR generalists with relevant practical experience in disciplines such as recruitment, performance management, job evaluation, remuneration and benefits, HR information systems, workforce planning, and employee relations.
  • Well-developed generalist knowledge and experience in interpreting policies, directives, awards, agreements, and industrial instruments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
