We are currently seeking a HR Advisor for a short-term cover on behalf of our client based in the Southern Suburbs to provide professional advice in relation to all HR and IR facets resulting in the delivery of exceptional customer support and engagement.

**About the role**:
As the HR Advisor, you will have responsibility for the following:

- Develop and implement a People Plan and gap analysis to address people priorities, issues and challenges to enable departmental business strategies
- Provide HR Technical Knowledge involving implementing HR Operational Strategies into practical business solutions and designing and implementing change management approaches to embed initiatives into the business
- Be closely aligned to the business - in order to understand their issues and prepare HR actions to address them
- Actively build strong relationships and engage all levels of employee across the business
- Understand and prioritise business needs and translate them into HR actions and then ensure strong and sustainable delivery

**About You**:
As an experienced HR Advisor, you will
- Proven experience as a HR Advisor with experience in medium to large organisation
- Degree qualifications in Human Resource Management or related disciplines
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current HR and IR legislative requirements
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage workload, meet deadlines and ensure accuracy
- Ability to interpret awards and relevant legislation
- Customer service focus with solid work ethic
- Strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality
