Occupational Therapist for Mental Health Services

- To work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, providing effective evidence-based practice that best meets the needs of patients.
- Deliver clinical skills, support, and education to patients to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.
- Maintain best practice standards by seeking regular professional clinical supervision.
- Provide written and verbal information to patients regarding their rights, responsibilities and the mental health services complaints and compliments process.
- Participate in the identification, development and implementation of quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of mental health services within the local service area.
- Actively participate in prevention, promotion and early intervention activities within the community aimed at children & youth at high risk of mental health issues.
