About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Frankston Clinic. As a key member of our patient services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the patient services team
  • Manage patient bookings and appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers
  • Process patient billing and receipting, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Accurately process relevant paperwork, including data entry and filing of patient records
  • Ensure the smooth running of the clinic, maintaining a high level of organization and communication with the team
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a medical reception or administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare funding mechanisms
  • Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries
