**Job Description:**

Make a difference in shaping how IAG responds to evolving employment legislation and workplace compliance.

As a Specialist in Employee Relations Policy & Governance, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing policies that ensure fairness, legal integrity, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure wage compliance and payroll governance practices meet regulatory standards and reflect best practice.
  • Translate complex legal frameworks into clear, actionable policies and guidance for award interpretation and employment law implementation.
  • Design and deliver change programs that embed new legislative requirements across the organisation, working closely with Legal, Payroll, and People & Culture teams.

This strategic position offers the opportunity to influence policy at scale, contribute to enterprise transformation, and be a trusted advisor.

**Requirements:**

  • Expertise in wage compliance, payroll governance, or leading remediation programs is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience as an ER practitioner in a commercial organisation of significant complexity, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and experience interpreting award clauses is crucial.
  • Experience in project and change management, including working with cross-functional teams, is necessary.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and data analysis, are required.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively resolve them is vital.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation are necessary.
  • A proactive approach to staying across changes in the external environment and translating them into internal action is essential.
