Driving Innovation in Energy Transition

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and drive technology and value optimisation analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative tools and leading analysis across the energy sector.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will support Development & Delivery teams with process optimisation, equipment sizing and selection, costing, plant layout using value optimisation principles. They will also interact with external vendors, OEMs, and other stakeholders to undertake assessments, resolve enquiries for budget pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a range of technology and value optimisation services as required: master-planning, strategy, advisory, scoping, concept development and screening, basic and detailed design, feasibility studies, FEED, EPCm and Owners Engineering services.
  • Develop conceptual schemes and studies, capital and operational expense modelling, LCOE, LCOH, LCOS and other cost analysis.
  • Work within an integrated team: renewables, transmission, BESS, hydrogen production-compression-storage, hydrogen transmission and blending, power to X, end user support.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree qualification in Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Highly capable of creating and modifying Excel financial and economic models.
  • Experience with software modelling packages to support the modelling of emerging fuel systems to determine techno-economic feasibility and support the design process including facilities and pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience exercising judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepare recommendations based on sound data analysis.
