Our team seeks a Cyber Security Specialist with expertise in the energy sector to support cyber security maturity and capability uplift across Australia's energy sector.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating effective response to cyber security incidents, enhancing frameworks for cyber security maturity uplift, and coordinating cyber security research activities on emerging issues affecting energy grids and markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating with Commonwealth and State government authorities and energy market participants on effective response to cyber security incidents.
  • Enhancing the frameworks used to inform cyber security maturity uplift across grids and markets.
  • Coordinating cyber security research activities on emerging issues affecting energy grids and markets.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the energy sector supporting critical infrastructure, resilience and cyber security initiatives.
  • Effective analysis and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of security control and maturity frameworks relevant to the energy sector.
  • Knowledge of jurisdictional structures and arrangements across State, Territory and Commonwealth governments with respect to energy and cyber security.
  • Contemporary knowledge of cyber adversary techniques and tradecraft.
  • Procurement, program and project management skills.
  • Financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management skills.
  • Ability to travel interstate and work flexible hours.

Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to attain and maintain an appropriate level of national security clearance.
