Lead Industry Engagement Specialist

The selected candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years' experience within the energy, electrical, gas or renewables sector, with a proven track record of engaging key stakeholders and delivering actionable outcomes. Previous experience in a position that provided consistent networking is essential, along with an inherent ability to effectively assess the needs of others through active listening and an authentic approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising and engaging with industry to gain insights on workforce gaps, new skill requirements and industry talent pipelines;
  • Exploring and executing collaboration opportunities with other Jobs and Skills Councils to identify innovative approaches to workforce development;
  • Buidling on existing relationships and establishing new relationships with a range of key stakeholders as a trusted expert.

This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate viewpoints or approaches through effective storytelling. Knowledge of jobs and skills training packages and the topics driving transformation is also essential.
