
Business Development Partner

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Partnership Marketing professional to join our organization. This role will play a key part in developing and growing our B2B partnership program, supporting the transition to a low carbon economy.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extending to permanent. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B marketing, working with small to medium-sized businesses and driving customer success. They will also be comfortable managing relationships and stakeholders of all sizes and levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the marketing toolkit for our B2B partners, helping them effectively sell our products.
- Assist partners in running their own marketing campaigns and setting up business-as-usual processes.
- Develop the brand story for our partnership program.
- Work with internal sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive end-customer lead conversion.
- Develop marketing assets and support Business Development Managers in winning B2B customers.
- Coordinate outbound B2B marketing activity, identifying appropriate channels, developing content, and generating leads and sales.
- Establish sales performance reporting, sharing insights, and providing recommendations on improving the sales funnel.
- Manage third-party agencies (branding, media, promotional, etc).
- Lead our trade show presence.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in a B2B marketing role.
- Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses and driving customer success.
- Experience briefing, developing, and delivering marketing assets.
- A strong customer advocate and pragmatic 'can-do' attitude.
- Industry experience in utilities, clean technology, telco, or similar industries (desirable).
- Experience in process improvement or technology platform management (desirable).
