Physiotherapist Job Description

This role is for a Physiotherapist to provide support and treatments to Defence Force Personnel at the Amberley Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physiotherapy assessments, provide evidence-based treatments, and offer rehabilitative services to patients.
  • Direct patients in rehabilitation programs, fitting of orthoses or other devices as needed.
  • Utilize electrotherapy modalities or hydrotherapy pools where required, and provide advice and recommendations to other health professionals.
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship for Commonwealth Security Clearance purposes.
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 2 years full-time postgraduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent).
  • Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
