Job Opportunity: IT SOX Compliance Specialist

Oversight of IT SOX compliance testing is a core responsibility for this role. As a seasoned professional, you will work closely with the global IT team to ensure effective IT controls over financial reporting (ICFR). Responsibilities include collaboration on compliance assessments, testing, and remediation activities.

A key focus area is the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT controls over financial reporting (ICFR). This involves conducting detailed testing of IT SOX controls, including IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls, SoD controls, and automated financial reporting controls.

The chosen candidate must be able to identify, assess, and document compliance risks and controls, ensuring alignment with the COSO Internal Control framework. Additionally, they will assist in preparing presentations for executive leadership and the audit committee, summarizing IT SOX compliance progress, key findings, control deficiencies, and remediation plans.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT SOX compliance, IT auditing, or IT risk management, with a focus on IT controls related to financial reporting.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with expertise in IT general controls (ITGCs), SoD, and testing of automated financial reporting systems.
