Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our compliance function, you will be responsible for leading the Group-wide approach to regulatory reporting and screening within Financial Crime Compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective screening programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with analytics and risk teams to validate data integrity and support robust compliance frameworks.
  • Provide expert advice on financial crime compliance obligations, including AML/CTF and AUSTRAC guidance.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with sanctions, third-party, customer, employee, and payment screening.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as law or finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services and banking, with a focus on compliance and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial crime compliance regulations and laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
