Job Role

This role offers the opportunity to lead and educate clinicians in aged care assessment, conducting evaluations in hospital or community settings according to Commonwealth guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of frail clients aged 65+ (50+ for Indigenous clients) to determine their care needs.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to clinicians to ensure quality, evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate access to appropriate services.
Requirements
  • Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority for Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, or Registered Nurse.
  • Prior experience in Aged Care Assessment is advantageous.
