Clinical Director of Medicine

As a key member of the leadership team, the Clinical Director of Medicine will drive excellence in clinical outcomes, scholarship, and staff development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes and reduce adverse events.
  • Foster a culture of scholarship and continuous learning among staff.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement service-wide initiatives.

Requirements
  1. A bachelor's degree in medicine or an equivalent qualification eligible for registration with the relevant medical board.
  2. Registration or eligibility for registration as a specialist with the relevant health practitioner regulation agency. This requires fellowship of the relevant college of physicians.
  3. Candidates with additional subspecialties or interests are encouraged to apply.
  4. Maintenance of ongoing continuing medical education (CME) programs is essential.
