Nurse Unit Manager: Leadership Position

As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will work in an acute care environment to deliver high-quality patient care and lead a team of healthcare professionals.
- Accountability for safe patient-focused care and effective management of the Acute Care Unit.
- Promote innovation and change through continuous improvement initiatives to increase staff satisfaction and patient safety.
- Develop effective rostering strategies, manage absenteeism, and recruit high-performing team members.
- Foster team stability through strong communication and collaboration with peers and colleagues.
You must be a current Registered Nurse with a valid practicing certificate and have a postgraduate qualification in acute care or health management. Credentialling as an X-ray operator is highly desirable in a rural and remote healthcare setting.
- A background in Indigenous Health would be advantageous in this role.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
A competitive remuneration package that includes:
- An hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 per hour.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
