Job Opportunity: Deliver Cultural Capability Training

As a specialist in cultural capability training, you will deliver high-quality educational sessions to enhance the cultural competence of Uniting's people leaders.

This role is responsible for facilitating effective learning environments and constructive conversations, ensuring that all participants achieve their training goals.

You will work closely with the Learning and Development team and the First Nation Strategy and Outcomes Unit, fostering positive and professional relationships with Uniting staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective training strategies
  • Establish safe and inclusive learning environments
  • Participate in industry consultation activities and contribute to the development of new content

Requirements:

  • Aboriginality is a genuine qualification authorised under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in facilitating cultural capability sessions
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
