About the Role:

Step into a leadership role where your expertise makes a real impact. As a Senior Trainer and Assessor, you won't just deliver training, you'll set the standard for excellence across corrections, onshore immigration, and offshore immigration services. From incident response to aviation escort operations, you'll lead programs that directly influence frontline capability and safety.

You'll be the go-to mentor for Trainers and Assessors, providing guidance, coaching, and quality oversight. Working closely with Trainers and operational leaders, you'll design, refine, and deliver high-quality programs that meet the highest standards of compliance, while also keeping training engaging, practical, and future focused.

As part of your role, you will:
  • Lead the delivery and quality assurance of accredited programs across corrections and immigration.
  • Mentor and support Trainers and Assessors, lifting capability across the team.
  • Develop and refine training content, ensuring it's industry-leading and compliant with MTC, TSS, and ASQA standards.
  • Provide expert assessment and feedback that inspires confidence in learners.
  • Represent the training function with professionalism and credibility at a national and global level.
To be successful, you will:
  • Hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent AND a Cert III in Correctional Practice or Immigration Detention Operations (or both).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering training in correctional facilities or immigration detention centres
  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain).
  • Currently or previously have worked within an immigration centre.
