Job Summary:

A seasoned payroll professional is sought to lead end-to-end payroll operations across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accurate and timely payments aligned with Awards, EBAs, employment contracts, and statutory obligations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the payroll function, overseeing end-to-end payroll operations, including accurate, timely payments aligned with Awards, EBAs, employment contracts, and statutory obligations.
  • Oversee payroll journals, accruals, and reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries, delivering responsive and informed support.

This role requires a strategic mindset, operational rigor, and a passion for compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Proven expertise in PAYG, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation regulations across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Strong working knowledge of Awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs).
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems, time & attendance platforms, and/or HRIS.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex payroll operations for both Australia and New Zealand.
