Key Responsibilities

As a seasoned financial leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury functions. Your key responsibilities will include managing cash flow requirements, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and external reporting obligations.


You will lead a team responsible for delivering core transactional finance services, driving process improvements, and providing high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders.


Additional responsibilities include reconciliations, aged debtors and creditors reporting, and resolution of discrepancies, as well as providing accurate and timely transactional data to support financial reporting and forecasting.


Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will work collaboratively to drive continuous improvement and shape future finance processes.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess a tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and hold CPA or CA qualifications or be working towards them.


With at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing transactional finance teams in a mid to high volume transactional environment, you will bring a strong knowledge of cash flow management and working capital cycles.


You will also have prior experience working within Not-for-Profit or community services sectors, including knowledge of prudential compliance requirements under the Aged Care Act.


Key skills and qualities include excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, sound understanding of financial systems and process improvement, and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
