Job Overview

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at MacKillop Family Services, providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people.

About the Role

This position is situated within our National After Hours Services Unit, which provides residential care that supports the emotional, social, and behavioural needs of young people. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, working closely with other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support and care to young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties;
  • Implement behaviour management plans to promote positive behaviours and well-being;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, families, and other stakeholders;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant qualification in youth work, social work, or a related field;
  • Experience working with young people with complex needs;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A valid Driver's Licence and ability to travel as required;
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check.
