About the Role:The Bed Coordinator position is pivotal in ensuring timely, safe, and informed patient allocation across Western Health sites. As a senior nursing leader, you will be responsible for managing access and patient flow, coordinating hospital admissions, and monitoring organisational performance.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Respond to access demand across all WH sites
- Ensure timely patient allocation on a shift-by-shift basis while monitoring organisational performance
- Coordinate all Western Health hospital admissions
- Act as an organisational resource and backup site incident commander for critical incidents
