About this opportunity

  • We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Coordinator.

This is a 9-month, full-time role based in either Brisbane or Launceston.

As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for helping us share the stories of our walks, drive digital campaigns, and inspire more people to connect with wild landscapes through our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the development and implementation of the company's marketing strategy, including reporting
  2. Develop search engine optimised content and make technical updates of the TWG website
  3. Update itineraries and other marketing collateral as required
  4. Coordinate paid social media advertising, including set-up, monitoring, and ongoing management to optimise advertisement performance
  5. Perform ongoing reviews of social media advertisement trends and ensure compliance with relevant advertising rules and regulations
  6. Produce creative and on-brand copy writing for campaign messaging, email marketing, blog posts, itinerary development, and other marketing collateral
  7. Respond to customer reviews on digital platforms, as well as engage in social listening on social media sites
Requirements:
  • Experience in a marketing role (bonus if it's in tourism)
  • Working knowledge of social media advertisement trends
  • Strong writing skills and ability to tell a compelling story
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using a content management system (CMS) or willingness to learn
  • Genuine interest in eco-tourism and nature
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or business
