Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural design projects with a focus on compliance and technical excellence.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  • Certify building products through rigorous testing, analysis, and detailed reporting.
  • Collaborate with clients to create digital solutions for the building product industry.
  • Design cold-formed steel structures and inspect residential and small commercial buildings.
  • Work independently while maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support business development efforts with technical expertise in proposals and presentations.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of structural engineering experience with a proven leadership track record.
  • Experience in residential and/or commercial design, including inspections.
  • Knowledge of the NCC-BCA and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software, Microsoft Excel, and CAD tools.
  • Progressing towards CPE status with Engineers Australia.
