We're seeking an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant to support personnel with physical and/or psychological injuries. This unique role offers meaningful rewards and a sense of purpose.

  • Taking a holistic approach, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate the journey from rehabilitation to healing
  • Perform various assessments based on your clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including injured employees, medical specialists, treatment providers, and allied health professionals
  • Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans that cater to individual needs

KPIs are aligned with service delivery outcomes, not billable hours. Our focus is genuinely person-centred, with goal-setting at its core.

Enjoy a balanced work-life experience with regular working hours (7:30am – 3:30pm) Monday to Friday. You'll be located on base at Robertson Barracks.

To succeed:

  • Hold current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant industry bodies (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, or AASW)
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work
  • Be an Australian citizen
  • Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning skills
  • Show ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals
  • Exhibit passion for helping individuals rehabilitate
  • Occupational rehabilitation experience is highly regarded
