Senior Systems Analyst - Maximo Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst with expertise in Maximo (Asset Management Software) to manage the full Application Lifecycle of Maximo and related Asset and Works Management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and modify the Maximo system to meet business needs, including creating and managing workflows, data structures, and integration points.
  • Oversee daily operations, monitor application incidents, and provide Level 2 support for Maximo and other asset management systems.
  • Resolve complex technical issues by working closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute system maintenance, performance tuning, upgrades, and patches.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and make design decisions aligned with best practices.
  • Develop and enhance system documentation and ensure compliance with IT standards and practices.
  • Support design, estimation, and development according to standards.
Day-to-Day Duties:
  • Support Maximo and other applications, collaborating with team members and monitoring application incidents and service requests.
  • Participate in bi-weekly enhancement processes, focusing on high-volume improvements and modifications.
  • Provide input and guidance on projects and work with various teams.
Upcoming Projects:
  • Implement changes within Maximo.
  • Deploy Maximo mobile.
  • Plan a major upgrade.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Maximo, including configuration, security, and integration.
  • Proven ability to manage and customise Maximo applications effectively.
  • Competent in SQL, programming languages (e.g., Java Script or Python), and database management.
  • Experience in setting technical standards, leading projects, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of providing strategic solutions and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Ability to work with IT teams, project teams, business support teams, senior managers, and system architects.
