Davidson is seeking an experienced and driven Business Analyst to support our client in a critical project. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a thorough functional review of their Maximo system to guide its future development and optimize its performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Review: Analyze the existing Maximo implementation to understand current functionalities, performance, and areas for improvement.
- Future Requirements: Identify and document the future requirements and objectives for Maximo, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Strategic Roadmap: Evaluate various strategies and options to transition from the current state to the desired future state, including potential enhancements and upgrades.
- Recommendations: Provide clear, actionable recommendations and a strategic roadmap based on the review findings to support decision-making for Maximo's future direction.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather insights, understand needs, and validate findings. Facilitate workshops and presentations as required.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation that outline the current state, future needs, and recommended solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Asset Management Expertise: Demonstrated working understanding of Asset Management principles, with a focus on ISO55000 standards and best practices.
- Maximo Experience: Extensive experience with Maximo 7.6 or MAS, specifically within asset management and work management modules.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to evaluate complex systems, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing or supporting projects, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle and methodologies.
- Adaptability: Ability to approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset and adapt to evolving project requirements.
Desirable Skills:
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the utilities or water sector is a plus.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in business analysis, project management, or Maximo are advantageous.
