Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Governance Manager to lead our governance systems, education, and frameworks that ensure safe, high-quality care for our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality care through robust governance, risk management, continuous improvement practices, and oversight of clinical education across our teams.

About the Role
  • This is a senior clinical position responsible for reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
  • The Clinical Governance Manager will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Clinical Governance Framework.
  • Provide specialist governance and advice on clinical programs including palliative care, infection control, and dignity of risk.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of Case Managers (including RNs, ENs, and non-clinicians) and Nurse Educators.
  • Support and maintain complex care planning, conduct clinical assessments, and ensure competency of care staff.
  • Design and deliver clinical education programs and professional development initiatives.
  • Monitor and respond to clinical risks, incidents, and compliance requirements.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a clinical governance, quality, or risk leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of aged care and disability care frameworks (ACQS, NDIS).
  • Proven clinical leadership capability including staff mentorship, training, and supervision.
  • Ability to lead audits, policy development, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Experience in training and mentoring clinical staff.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
