Lead Clinical Governance

The organization seeks a seasoned professional to assume the role of Lead Clinical Governance Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care delivery through robust governance practices and oversight of clinical education.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership skills and expertise in clinical governance, quality management, and risk assessment.

You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Clinical Governance Framework, providing specialist advice on clinical programs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals.

  • Develop and implement clinical governance strategies to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to establish and maintain complex care planning processes.
  • Provide leadership and clinical oversight to Case Managers and Nurse Educators.
  • Support competency development of care staff and foster a culture of lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the design and delivery of clinical education programs and professional development initiatives.
  2. Monitor and respond to clinical risks, incidents, and compliance requirements.
  3. Oversight of clinical audits, incident reviews, and regulatory reporting to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in clinical governance, quality, or risk leadership roles.
  • Deep understanding of aged care and disability care frameworks.
