About The Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Clinical Governance Manager is the senior clinical position responsible for supporting high-quality care delivery through robust governance, risk management, continuous improvement practices, and oversight of clinical education across our care teams.

You Will Also Be Responsible For

  • Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of the Clinical Governance Framework.
  • Providing specialist governance and advice on clinical programs including palliative care, infection control, and dignity of risk.
  • Providing leadership, clinical oversight and support to a multidisciplinary team of Case Managers (including RN, ENs and non-clinicians) and Nurse Educators.
  • Supporting and maintaining complex care planning, conducting clinical assessments and ensuring competency of care staff.
  • Leading the design and delivery of clinical education programs and professional development initiatives.
  • Monitoring and responding to clinical risks, incidents and compliance requirements.
  • Oversight of clinical audits, clinical incident reviews, infection control and regulatory reporting ensuring adherence to the Aged Care and NDIS standards and government regulations.
  • Acting as a key clinical interface with external providers, allied health and regulatory bodies as required.
Our Ideal Candidate

You Will Hold

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

You Must Also Bring

  • Minimum 5 years in a clinical governance, quality, or risk leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of aged care and disability care frameworks (ACQS, NDIS).
  • Proven clinical leadership capability including staff mentorship, training and supervision
  • Ability to lead audits, policy development, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Experience in training and mentoring clinical staff.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
