About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team in NSW. As a Senior Underwriter, you'll be responsible for determining the conditions and pricing of moderate to complex pricing risks, ensuring it's in line with business & regulatory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage new business & renewals, including intermediatory visits with our NSW Broker Partners.
  • Support the management of the Liability portfolio across underwriting processing and credit management, documentation issuance, and general servicing and management of liability risks.
  • Utilise your expertise in liability underwriting to support and mentor the team.
About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in a similar Liability Underwriting role.
  • Current knowledge of the general insurance industry.
  • Excellent customer focus with commercial acumen.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal & external relationships.
  • An insurance qualification, e.g. ANZIIF Cert IV or in the process of working towards (preferred).
  • Associate of ANZIIF (preferred).
