About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team at Arch Capital Group Ltd. As a Senior Underwriter, you will play a critical role in underwriting new and existing business within set guidelines, authority levels, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite within company policy and underwriting standards
  • Prepare reports on portfolio performance and maintain credit control of business within the portfolio
  • Participate in audits, Peer Review Process, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation and adherence to organizational guidelines
  • Work with stakeholders to maximize underwriting opportunities and achieve operations and service targets
Requirements and Skills
  • Experience in financial services with knowledge of legislative framework
  • Demonstrable ability to grow a profitable portfolio
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualifications desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
  • Organized and methodical approach to working practices and meeting deadlines
