I-MED Radiology Fortitude Valley is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to take on the role of Chief Radiographer. As a leader in the medical imaging industry, we are committed to providing high-quality services to our patients and referrers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring efficient and effective management of staff and resources.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical and financial outcomes.
  • Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to technologist staff, promoting excellence in medical imaging practices.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local GPs and referring specialists, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Perform routine and specialized medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and management experience in a medical imaging setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality medical imaging examinations, employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standard or above.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of I-MED Radiology Network.
  • General and CT experience required; MRI highly regarded.
