I-MED Radiology Fortitude Valley is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to take on the role of Chief Radiographer. As a leader in the medical imaging industry, we are committed to providing high-quality services to our patients and referrers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring efficient and effective management of staff and resources.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical and financial outcomes.
- Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to technologist staff, promoting excellence in medical imaging practices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local GPs and referring specialists, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Perform routine and specialized medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards.
Requirements
- Proven leadership and management experience in a medical imaging setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality medical imaging examinations, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of I-MED Radiology Network.
- General and CT experience required; MRI highly regarded.
